Can I blame the generation gap for the look I just received?

Sweet Girl was flitting about, playing with some ribbons.

SG: Mom, pick your favorite color!
Me: um, blue.
SG: OK, now, Mom, tie it to something. And, if you pull on it, music might play!
Me, without thinking: Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.
SG: (blank stare)

Just because your two-year-old has fed the cats plenty of times just fine, doesn’t mean you should trust him to feed the cats unsupervised this time.

Ever watch/listen to your kids playing, and just think, ‘They are so stinkin cute and awesome and I’m so lucky they came to my house?’ I do.

*crash, tinkle*

Of course, the moment doesn’t last long. LOL

I made a shirt for Sweet Girl the other day. Surprisingly, she loves it.

So I have a touch of insomnia, and stayed up watching Food Network. (By the way, being bored and watching Food Network is a bad combination. I don’t want to think about the calories I ingested tonight.) Anyway, after the regular programming is over, it’s time for the infomercials. I’m watching one for the Fry Pro 2 or something like that… a glorified deep fryer. I’ve been watching this for about 15 minutes, and I’m pretty sure I can feel my arteries hardening. Seriously, who deep-fries shish kabobs?
