People.

For the love of all that is fattening, you.must.make.these.rolls.

Mmmmm.

Be forewarned - it makes a large batch.

By ‘large’ I mean two 9x13 pans and an 8x8 casserole dish full. And that was after I used a fourth of the dough for dinner rolls earlier. (And those were mighty fine, too.)

I modified it just slightly - I ran out of regular cinnamon and used Cinnamon Plus from Pampered Chef. Mmmmm. And for the glaze, instead of using maple & coffee to flavor the powdered sugar, I used almond extract.

Mmmmm.

Go. Bake. Your taste buds will thank you. Your butt won’t, but if you’re listening to your butt, then you have bigger problems than what you’re eating.

For those that knew that we were waiting for a phone call last week - it didn’t come. So, the search continues…

FYI

If you go on a trip and put some sodas in a cooler, and while cleaning out the vehicle at the end of the trip, don’t put the cooler in the bed of the nearby pickup ‘just for a minute’ while you move something else.

Because you will forget about it.

For a month.

And if you live in an area like me that is experiencing record below-freezing temperatures, when you remember to bring in the cooler, this is what you will find:

Want some Fresca? Too bad.

No, it’s not floating in water. That would be rock-solid water and soda.

The main reason I am able to laugh about this? I didn’t do it.

DH did.

Bwahahahahaha.

a good way to cement your friendship

Filed under: Sweet Girl, general insanity - Taffi @ 4:06 pm

Sweet Girl just asked if she could call her friend, Roze. She and Roze are pretty good friends - they already have that teenage-girl-talking thing down - they’re often on the phone for an hour. Anyway….

So I just helped her call her friend, and as she walks away (up to her room, of course) I hear:

"Hi, is Roze here? … Hi Roze, it’s [Sweet Girl]! I told you I would call today! Oh, wait, I told that to Hallie…"

emoticon

Way to go, Sweets. That’s gotta make Roze feel special! LOL

(PS - she’s currently reading a book to Roze over the phone. Sigh. Oh - even better. It’s a SpongeBob coloring book and she’s reading the descriptions at the bottom of each page.)
